AHM was established more than 30 years ago, and is thus older than Google. Thorough research is part of our DNA. In our hyperconnected age, we keep our eye on the ball – and are dead serious about the skills of our craft.
There’s this person we know. As experienced media professionals, we are familiar with the industry and have excellent contacts with decision-makers in the travel, hotel, wellness, health, gourmet, lifestyle, economy and sports sectors in the German-speaking world.
We love what we do. Journalists and clients appreciate our enthusiasm and success. We have been working with most of our clients for many years. In the SRT Tourism manual, we regularly feature in the top ten of German-speaking agencies, and have been voted number one four times in the past five years.

Managing Director
studied Communications, History and Psychology in Munich. She then worked as a travel journalist for a number of reputable newspapers and magazines and was responsible for producing the travel programme On Tour for the Bavarian public broadcasting company. Angelika started her PR career in 1993 and founded her own agency, which has been one of the TOP 10 of tourism-related PR agencies in Germany for more than 15 years. The business is now operating as a PR and Marketing agency with a focus on the tourism, hotel, health, gourmet and lifestyle sectors. Since 2011, Angelika has also been a lecturer in Public Relations in Tourism at the ASCENSO Academy for Business and Media on Majorca. Angelika lives with her husband and their animals in a farmhouse on Lake Ammersee. As a passionate yoga fan, she spends time in India whenever possible, where she has launched her own projects.

Managing Director
PR, Marketing and Social Media Manager
studied Media, Sports and Event Management at the ASCENSO Academy in Palma, Majorca. He then gained journalism experience with Mittelbayerische Zeitung, a regional Bavarian newspaper in Regensburg, first as a reporter and later in online marketing. As a copywriter and proofreader, Tom Carlos has been undertaking multilingual work for many years for various authors, companies and publishing houses, and additionally managed the press office of the Marketing Club Regensburg for two years. Outside the agency, the passionate alpine skier enjoys music, football and international cuisine. Tom Carlos joined our PR and Marketing team in 2016. In 2022, he became managing director of AHM.

Head of PR Tourism
PR and Marketing Manager
studied German Language and Literature with History in Munich. She learned the tools of the journalistic profession during her studies by working for a major daily newspaper in Munich and for a travel guide publisher. During the university holidays, she backpacked for several months through Europe, Asia and the US. After her studies, she worked as a trainee reporter with the magazine abenteuer und reisen. After completing her traineeship, she stayed on and worked as an editor for eight years, for two of which she additionally served as the deputy editor-in-chief of a tourism-oriented customer magazine. In her spare time, she prefers to get around on her bicycle, and can even be found traversing the Alps on two wheels.
Jessica has been working at AHM since April 2011, and has headed up the PR team since May 2014.

studied Linguistics at the University of Constance. Already a keen traveller to the US and Ecuador while still in school, she racked up experience in the media and PR during her studies. Natalie spent a term abroad in Finland. After graduating, she served as a trainee at the municipal theatre of Bad Säckingen, working in PR and Events. Whenever she can, she packs her bags and follows her yearning for faraway places. Natalie joined our PR team in April 2018, first as trainee, and now as PR and Social Media Manager.

After exploring South East Asia for several months, Ariane studied Business Administration at the University of Augsburg. Fascinated by new countries and people, her journey continued. She began her career with a traineeship at a Munich PR agency which was followed by editorial work for one of the first sports magazines. Her enthusiasm for a wide variety of sports led Ariane to Red Bull where she worked as Marketing Manager for many years. She then went on to manage her own PR agency. Ariane is passionate about being outside and in the mountains. She spends her free time running, cycling, swimming, skiing, hiking and climbing. She’s part of the AHM team since 2022.

studied German Language and Literature, Communications and Geography in Bamberg. Immediately after her studies, she went to Vancouver, Canada to work for a recruitment company, organising jobs for people from across the world. Upon returning to Germany, Bettina completed her practical journalism training with the hotel trade magazine Top hotel and afterwards worked as an editor. After two further stints as an editor - for the trade journal of the gastronomic industry, Hogapage, and for an organiser of luxury travel in Asia - she moved into PR. Bettina loves to spend time with her family and stays fit with basketball, swimming and mountain running. Bettina joined the AHM team in September 2015.

completed her apprenticeship at an aerospace company, where she subsequently worked in public relations and events for several years. At the same time, she finished her studies to become a certified business administrator. After working for some time as an events project manager in the hospitality industry, Lisa, an Ammersee native, decided to join AHM to further develop her PR and marketing skills. Lisa loves to spend her free time playing volleyball, skiing or traveling. Lisa joined our AHM team in March 2023.

has always felt at home in the tourism industry and, after graduating from school, completed a dual bachelor’s degree in International Business Management with a focus on Hotel Management. She served her apprenticeship at a family-run four-star hotel in Regensburg. Next, she completed her master's degree in tourism and sustainable regional development in a double degree program at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and the University of Oulu in Finland. Exploring the world is also on Amelie’s private agenda, as she loves learning about different cultures. After her time as PR support at AHM, Amelie became a permanent member of our PR and Marketing team in June 2023.

PR and Marketing Manager
studied media management at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she gained practical experience at Vogtland Radio, BMW in Dingolfing and Daimler in Stuttgart. After graduation, she served as PR Manager, later Head of PR, for the Jochen Schweizer Group. To gain international experience and think outside the box she switched sides and took over responsibility as Senior PR Manager at a PR agency specialized in tourism marketing in Munich. A road trip through the Baltic States during her time at university sparked Claudia's desire for traveling. Later, she went travelling to Central America, Asia and the USA. In 2015, wanderlust lured her on an almost yearlong trip around the world: With backpack and tent she explored Argentina, Patagonia and Chile, crossed Russia and Mongolia by Trans-Siberian Railway, spent two months in China and travelled further from Singapore through Malaysia and along the east coast of Australia. Seven colorful and creative years followed within the PR and marketing team of writing and creative goods manufacturer STAEDTLER in Nuremberg. Then the longing for the mountains drew her back to the south. Today Claudia loves to spend her free time with her kids and husband on a camper van trip – no matter in which direction. Claudia joined the AHM team in September 2023.

has a degree in Spanish, French and Intercultural Communications. During her studies, she worked for the internet travel business Travelzoo. She also lived and studied for several months in Madrid and Paris. She then spent four weeks backpacking through Argentina. Sarah gained her first PR experience with a publishing company. She prefers to spend her free time outdoors, either on her inline skates or hiking, and loves to read a good book while sunbathing. Sarah is part of the AHM team since 2013, first as trainee, and now as PR Manager.

After graduating from high school, Leonie moved from her hometown Heidenheim to her favorite city, Madrid, to work as an au pair. After training as a digital and print media specialist at a publishing house in the Allgäu, she completed a traineeship as a journalist at the travel portal Mein Tophotel and the trade magazine Tophotel in Munich. There she discovered her love for the world of the hotel industry. Leonie prefers a city trip with a suitcase to an adventure vacation with a backpack. In her free time, she enjoys the two things she loves most: Traveling and writing. Now she lives at the lake Ammersee and has been part of the AHM team since January 2024.

PR and Marketing ManagerHead of Support Team
has a degree in Bachelor of Arts in German Language, Literature as well as Art and Cultural History. Before she became a paramedic and finished a Voluntary Year of Social Service. During her time at university she improved her writing and social media skills as a Content Manager for a food blog. She also did an internship at a publishing house in Munich where she discovered her enthusiasm for PR and Marketing. Since her childhood, Luisa travelled around the world, during her latest trip she enjoyed backpacking through Europe after her A-Levels. Luisa uses her free time in dealing with animal welfare and focuses on the coexistence of humans and animals.

PR Manager
learned how to draft texts in a way that people like to read during her apprenticeship as a media designer. Practical experience was followed by a lot of theory: Stella studied communication science, psychology and sociology in Muenster. Meanwhile, she took two friends and a backpack and traveled the world – from Thailand to China, Australia, Fiji and North America. An experience that changed her world. After completing a traineeship in journalism, Stella worked as an editorial manager for magazine development at Hubert Burda Media in Munich. Among other tasks, she created and produced a health magazine. Later, she headed the fitness, food and health division at Bauer Media Group's lifestyle magazine Shape. Stella then ventured into the world of books and, as Editorial Director, was responsible for the culinary program section of the health and cookbook publisher ZS Verlag. Today she is working as a journalist for various magazines, corporate publishers and companies, preferably on the topics of health, travel, nutrition and psychology. Stella Paschen joined the AHM team in summer 2022.

Media Monitoring
and Office Support
worked for a number of national and international companies, mostly in commercial areas, after completing her training as a bank clerk. She thus gained thorough knowledge and experience in secretarial and accounting work, as well as in controlling and marketing/PR. In her free time, Gabi loves to spend time with her family, ideally in the mountains or in Stockschießen, the traditional alpine version of curling. Gabi has made a name for herself in this sport, competing in regional Bavarian tournaments. Gabi joined AHM in December 2006 and works in Office Management.

has taken a new path after six years in the gastronomy industry, where she managed the organization and implementation of events. With AHM, she has now found the right practical partner for her dual studies in PR and communication at the IU Augsburg. Due to her outgoing and communicative nature and her love of traveling it was clear early on that Vanessa's future would lie in working with people from all over the world. Vanessa has been supporting the team since November 2022.

got to know the world at an early age thanks to her international family. After graduating from high school in Ulm, she spent a year in Australia and gained experience in the hospitality industry. However, Layla never stopped being drawn to the topic of travel. Following her stay Down Under, she thus decided to pursue a dual study program with a focus on marketing management at IU Augsburg. While looking for a company in the tourism sector, Layla found her right practice partner in AHM Kommunikation after gaining a feel for agency work during an internship. In her free time, Layla does a lot of sport and is particularly passionate about jogging. She joined the AHM team in April 2023.

spent her High School Years in Colombia, Germany and the US. She studied Journalism and Communications in Vienna and Rome. In Italy she worked in the hotel industry, as a Presenter and Producer for TV. After a stopover in Barcelona for her Master’s Degree in Documentary filming, the globetrotter landed in Munich for her TV, PR, and Online Traineeship at ProSiebenSat.1. For many years, before moving to the Lake Ammer, Sabrina worked in various private TV Channels. The last years she travelled the world as Journalist and On-Air-Presenter for Abenteuer Leben. Sabrina spends her free time outdoors: hiking, biking, surfing – the wilder and remoter the better. Sabrina joined the AHM PR- and Marketing Team in September 2021.
